Love. It's a word with a thousand legs. Poets and scholars have written about the nuances of this word for thousands of years.
Every time I hear the word love, my mind conjures up all the 'what if's' that could follow it.
What if, true love for our fellow man came into play before any hurt-filled, devised action was executed against him/her?
What if, true love for ourselves was applied to every hurt we experienced?
What if, true love calmed anger and replaced it with peace?
What if, true love allowed us to follow God as a disciple and mimic his actions for the world?
What if, true love helped us to forgive and then forget when transgressions are committed against us?
What if, true love was true?
