SAGACIOUS

Word of the day: SAGACIOUS

(n.) wise; excellent judgement

There are many people in my life that are sagacious. I’ve learned to surround myself with them and listen with an open ear. They tend to see things that I miss. They seem to possess extraordinary lenses that allow them to see in the nooks and crannies that surround me.

They shed light in dark places, enabling me to view hazards and peril that are sprinkled in my path.

Wisdom on my part is knowing that I need other people in my life. Coaches, friends, family, neighbors. Each time I’ve tried to do something on my own, I’ve fallen short. I’ve learned, throughout my years, that two are stronger than one.

My biggest resource of sage, though, has come through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Seeking and acknowledging His presence, has provided me with the wisdom to go right instead of left in so many circumstances. God knew that we couldn’t walk around on this big blue ball without insightful direction, so he left us the ultimate guide.

I lean on Him all the time. Praying for sensitivity to His urgings and nudges. “If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).

Creatively His, Sue:)
