FRAUGHT

Updated: Jan 9, 2020

Word of theDay: fraught

- filled with or likely to result in (something undesirable). - causing or characterized by emotional distress or tension : uneasy

As our world turns and tips on its emotional axis, the inhabitants seem to find themselves fraught with overwhelming fear, contempt for their fellow man and brimming with unbrotherly love at an alarming rate.

This statement above was created from the thoughts that are posted daily on social media. They flow like the water in rapids. A world swiftly going mad in plain sight.

All throughout life here on this big blue ball, this scene has played over and over again. Brother against brother. Great divides between families. Cultural disrespect between generations. Bloody wars that have left mothers without sons and fathers without daughters.

You would think we would have learned from the past. The valuable lessons that have been laid out for us to glean from are innumerable. But we continue to rinse and repeat, over and over and over again.

Fraught with hate, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness and disdain, our world, once again, finds itself at arms length with one another. It is my prayer that the scales will fall off the eyes of many and that love for God, his children and ourselves will find its way through the cracks.

Creatively His, Sue:)
