Word of the Day: GLOM
Glom the day!
A warm bed, comfy covers, and the best soft, ear-foams money can buy — Ahhhh. I love to sleep. The snooze button has always been my friend and those last 10 minutes can make all the difference in the world! And I take full advantage of it.
But once I roll those covers down and my feet hit the ground, my excitement for the day kicks in and it’s time to ‘glom the day’.
I’m so blessed to live in a land where the American Dream is just a bit of hard work away. There’s not a bone in my body that takes for granted the opportunities that I have each day. I’ve never understood when people say that they are bored. It truly doesn’t compute in my head. There is always something to do, someone to see, someone to help. Each day is new.
Sometimes we forget this and just need to be reminded. I love the scripture in Job 38:12 - ‘Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, and caused the dawn to known its place…?” Command the morning. It’s ours to grab, to take, to seize and make it one that is prosperous and filled to the brim with memories.
Then, when the day takes its last bow, that warm bed will be waiting for me to lay down my head and rest up for yet another day. Brand and shiny new.
